DPF / DOC / SCR & ONE-BOX CLEANING SERVICES

In response to high demand, we now offer a full suite of DPF, DOC, SCR, and ONE-BOX cleaning services that can be customized to accommodate both large fleets and single owner operators.

Every filter cleaning includes a full filter inspection with both before, and after, cleaning weight and restriction. Your filters report card will be provided to you at the conclusion of your cleaning in either paper or digital formats. With the assistance of the report, you will be able to find the details that are important to you!

STAGE ONE CLEANING

“BLOWN”

Cleaning Stage(s) Included:

PNEUMATIC

Pneumatically cleaning a filter will remove the majority of all particulate from it and is a simple process that can be completed in under an hour. The "blowout" will reduce restriction by removing up to 90% of flow stealing soot and ash. A filter meeting OEM specs for restriction can allow for the reset of ash counters and soot levels. This solution is sufficient enough to get your vehicle back on the road if time was of the essence and every hour mattered.

PROs

  • Turnaround time is less than an hour.
  • Cost is not prohibitive.
  • Restriction can be reduced to GREEN TAG specifications in most scenarios.

CONs

  • Remaining soot not baked off via thermal cleaning could reduce the overall effectiveness of future regenerations. Failing to remove all particulate accumulation can result in potential dampening to the catalyst's heat conducting precious metals (Platinum, Palladium, and Rhodium).
  • Heavy concentrations of soot can create a coating that cannot be removed by pneumatic cleaning alone. This can often hide internal segmentation and other damage that thermal cleaning will uncover through the use of light testing.
  • Pin testing becomes useless reducing the ability to identify internal damage.

STAGE TWO CLEANING

“BLOW &  BAKE”

Cleaning Stage(s) Included:

PNEUMATIC & THERMAL

Pneumatic and thermal cleaning allows our technicians to return your filter back to you in the very best shape possible. The pneumatic cleaning process removes upwards of 90% of the soot within the filter. The remaining accumulation of soot is then "baked" off at temperatures reaching 1200 degrees. The filter is then pneumatically cleaned a second time to remove any residual ash that remains within after the regeneration process.

PROs

  • Rush Jobs Offered: Same day turnaround (10 AM cutoff).
  • Base cost is not prohibitive.
  • Restriction can be reduced to GREEN TAG specifications in most scenarios.
  • Removes all traces of soot.
  • Allows for proper light and pin testing to conclusively inspect your filter.

CONs

  • Turn around times are generally returned the next day (day one - dirty filter pickup; day two - clean filter drop off), but excessively dirty filters can often times require multiple bakes to access lower levels of soot that have hardened inside (don't worry, we won't charge you every time we do this; the main job is to clean the filter, and that's what we intend to do).
  • Rush jobs are great for when you need them, and we are happy to do them, but they cost extra money.

STAGE THREE CLEANING

“WASHED”

Cleaning Stage(s) Included:

PNEUMATIC, AQUEOUS, & THERMAL

For the tough jobs that include removing excessive deposits of soot, oil, fuel, or coolant from filters. Our aqueous process was designed specifically to remove all foreign contaminants from your filter in a ECO FRIENDLY manner, while using low pressure water to ensure we reduce the removal of precious metals from your filters as much as possible.

WARNING: Many cleaners out there are using either acidic chemicals to cut through the contaminants or excessive amounts of extremally high pressured water to dilute the contaminant. Using our aqueous cleaning process not only cleans your filters to your desired specifications, but it also preserves the integrity of the filter's highly sought after conductivity.

PROs

  • Removes most all contaminants including those from soot, oil, fuel, and coolant.

CONs

  • Cost.
  • Can reduce the presence of precious metals in your filter if improperly cleaned.
  • Can leave the filter stained (visual discoloration, does not affect performance) if the drying process wasn't complete prior to thermal cleaning process.
  • Due to the addition of filter drying time, aqueous cleaning can increase turn around time.

    STAGE FOUR CLEANING

    “HOT WASHED”

    Cleaning Stage(s) Included

    PNEMUATIC, ULTRASONIC, AQUEUOS, & THERMAL

For the toughest jobs that include removing excessive deposits of soot, oil, fuel, or coolant from filters. Using heated water and ultrasonic soundwaves, this cleaning can break up most internal buildup that aqueous can not.

WARNING: Ultrasonic cleaning can cause damage to your filter if the incorrect detergent solution is used, if the water has inadequate heat, or through improper cleaning times.

    PROs

    • Removes most all contaminants including those from soot, oil, fuel, and coolant using microscopic bubbles.

    CONs

    • Cost.
    • Can reduce the presence of precious metals in your filter if improperly cleaned.
    • Can leave the filter stained (visual discoloration, does not affect performance) if the drying process wasn't complete prior to thermal cleaning process.
    • Due to the addition of filter drying time, ultrasonic cleaning can increase turn around time.

      ONE-BOX CLEANING

Cleaning Stage(s) Available Based on Need:

      PNEMUATIC, AQUEUOS, & THERMAL

Our ONE-BOX cleaning process includes the removal of all soot from the one-box itself, as well as the removal of buildup on the catalysts that could be affecting its regeneration. During the cleaning process, all bungs are replaced and testing is performed to identify if there are any leaks that require sealing up.

      PROs

      • Chance that it could resolve code causing performance issues.
      • Cheaper than buying a new one-box (if you can find one - 9 month back order).
      • Cheaper than buying a new truck.

      CONs

      • No guarantee that it will fix issues.
      • Freight costs if shipping from out of state.

      Exhaust "Cut & Weld"

We remove and replace damaged bungs; will remove and repair pipe bends for filter access/cleaning and exhaust disassembly and reassembly for non-modular units. No exhaust size is too large or small for us to access!
